Scrap A Gift!

I got into scrapbooking for me. I did all the usual pages and books of my son and our various trips and adventures. But then I started making mini albums as gifts. These are the most appreciated gifts I've ever given! I managed to get my hands on some baby pictures of my best friend's baby and secretly made her a mini album. It was so special, she loved it! But perhaps the most special gift has been the annual albums I make for my mother and aunt. It's so easy! Just make sure you take pictures throughout the year at different events or occasions and then do quick mini January - December pages with one or two pictures per page - then make color copies of the pages and insert into albums (I used 8 x 8). That way, I get to keep the original! The one I am working on this year is an A-Z album. I've already done the mini alphabet pages, so now I just need to keep up with taking pictures throughout the year with different people (make sure you include at least one of the person you are giving the album to!) Of course a scrapbook calendar would be good gift too.
